Ayatus Sakinah - The Perfect Dua in Extreme Danger !

Danger and difficulties are part of life. None of us even an unborn baby in a mother's womb or a young person does not free from all dangers. 

Further some of us multiple problems occur in a short time. But do we ever think is there really any good solution for them? 

Yes, we wish and we often think that these problems should not come again or if they can be solved at once. 

Here is the true and reliable way to get rid of them.

Ayatus Sakinah - is one of the best dua in extreme danger.

Ayatus Sakinah is some ayah from our Holy Quran. These few ayahs mainly covers the extreme and defending power of Allah(SWT).


What are Ayah of Ayatus Sakinah 

 Surah Baqarah, 2: 246, Surah Tawbah, 9: (26,40), Surah Fatah, 48: (4,16,26)  


A story from a student of Imam Taymiyah

Shaykh al-Islam ibn Taymiyyah used to recite "Ayatus Sakinah" when the situation became more and more complicated.

One of his Student described a story from Imam Taymiyyah (We collected it and translated this story from a dependable source)

I heard an amazing story from him. Once he was very ill. Even in this critical moment, some of his enemy evil guys did not hesitate to harm him. 

Really The description of that moment was beyond the comprehension of ordinary people. He (Imam Taymiyyah) said,

When I witnessed this situation, I told the people around me to recite "Ayatus Sakinah". As a result, I got rid of my complications. My feeling as if there is no problem in my life. 

Explaination of Ayatus Sakinah

1. Surah Al-Baqara (Al-Baqarah), verse: 246

وقال لهم نبيهم إن ءاية ملكه أن يأتيكم ٱلتابوت فيه سكينة من ربكم وبقية مما ترك ءال موسى وءال هرون تحمله ٱلملئكة إن فى ذلك لءاية لكم إن كنتم مؤمنين

Pronunciation: Waka-la lahum nabiyuhum inna a-yata mulkihi i ya'atiyakumutta-butu fihi chakinatum mir rabbikum wa bakiiyatum mimma-taraka a-lumusha-wa a-lu ha-runa ta'miluq. 'Minin.

Meaning: Their Prophet also told the People of Israel that the sign of leadership of Talul is that, an Ark will come to you from your Lord to satisfy your hearts. And it will contain some of property, what was left of Moses, Aaron and their descendants. The angels will carry the ark. In that is a sign for you, if you are believers.

2. Surah At-Tawbah (التوبة), verse: 26

‎ثُمَّ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ سَكِينَتَهُۥ عَلَىٰ رَسُولِهِۦ وَعَلَى ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَأَنزَلَ جُنُودًا لَّمْ تَرَوْهَا وَعَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَذَٰلِكَ جَزَآءُ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ

Pronunciation: Chu mma anjhalalla-hu shaqinatahu ‘ala-rasulihi wa‘ alal mu’minina wa anjhala junudal lam taraoha-wa ‘azaballazina kaffaru wa ya-lika jajhaul ka-firin.

Meaning: Then Allah sends down consolation from Himself to His Messenger and the believers, and sends down armies whom you have not seen. And He punishes the disbelievers, and this is the recompense of the disbelievers. [9:27]


3. Surah At-Tawbah (التوبة), verse: 40

إلا تنصروه فقد نصره ٱلله إذ أخرجه ٱلذين كفروا ثانى ٱثنين إذ هما فى ٱلغار إذ يقول لصحبه لا تحزن إن ٱلله معنا فأنزل ٱلله سكينته عليه وأيده بجنود لم تروها وجعل كلمة ٱلذين كفروا ٱلسفلى وكلمة ٱلله هى ٱلعليا وٱلله عزيز حكيم

Pronunciation: illa-tanasuruhu phakada nasarahulla-hu-niyachanaini iyahuma iyaakharajahullayina kapharu students re-fill iyaiyakululisa-ga-la-tahajhana innalla hibihi phaanajhalla-hoo-ha maana chakinatahualaihi wa-wa jaala aiiyadahubijunudila Lam taraoha kalimatallayina kapharuchachuphala Wa Kalimatullah-hi Hial 'Dhaliya-Walla-Hu' Azhijhun Hakim.

Meaning: If you do not help him(The Messenger), then remember that Allah helped him when he was expelled by the disbelievers, he was one of the two when they were in the cave. Then he told his companion not to be sad, Allah is with us. Then Allah sent down His Consolation on him and sent with him a host whom you have not seen. Allah(SWT) humbled the disbelievers, and Allah's word is everlasting, and Allah is Almighty, Most Wise.


4. Surah Al Fath (الفتح), verse: 4

‎هُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنزَلَ ٱلسَّكِينَةَ فِى قُلُوبِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ لِيَزْدَادُوٓا۟ إِيمَٰنًا مَّعَ إِيمَٰنِهِمْ وَلِلَّهِ جُنُودُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا

Pronunciation: Huwallaziyanjhalach chakinata fi qulubil mu'minina liyajda-du uma-nam ma'a ima-nihim wa lilla-hi janudush chama-wa-ti wal ardi waka-nalla-hu 'aliman hakima

Meaning: He sends down peace in the hearts of the believers, so that their faith will increase with more faith. Allah, all armies the forces of the heavens and the earth belong to Him, and Allah is Omniscient, most Wise.


5. Surah Al Fatah (الفتح), verse: 16:36

لَّقَدِ عِلَى الْمُؤمِنِينَ 

Pronunciation: Lakad radialla-hu ‘anil mu’minina iyuba-i’unaka tahtashshajarati fa’alima ma-fi kulubihim faanjhalach chakinata‘ alaihim wa asa-bahum fathan kariba.

Meaning: Allah is pleased with the believers when they swear to you under the tree. Allah knew what was in their minds. Then He sent down tranquility upon them and rewarded them with an imminent victory.


6.  Surah Al Fath (الفتح), verse: 26

إذ جعل ٱلذين كفروا فى قلوبهم ٱلحمية حمية ٱلجهلية فأنزل ٱلله سكينته على رسوله وعلى ٱلمؤمنين وألزمهم كلمة ٱلتقوى وكانوا أحق بها وأهلها وكان ٱلله بكل شىء عليما

Pronunciation: Izza'alla'ina kafarufi kulubihimul hamiyatalja-hiliyati faanjhalalla-husakinatahu'ala-rasulihi wa alal mu'minina wa aljhamah kalimatatwa-ka-ha.

Meaning: Because the disbelievers used to insist like the age of ignorance in their hearts. Then Allah sent down His tranquility upon His Messenger and upon the believers, and made it obligatory upon them to exercise restraint. In fact, they were more deserving of it. Allah is fully aware of all things. [48:28]
